Learn how Olympia House works with residents and graduates to prevent relapses and remain sober.
Building a Set of New Behaviors
Working with each person to discover, develop and teach relapse prevention strategies to deal with real-life, high-stress situations while remaining sober, is the goal of this therapy. Building a set of new behaviors that become second-nature is an important step toward successful relapse prevention and long-term sobriety.
We offer relapse prevention therapy to aid each person after they leave our care. This intensive work helps individuals to identify and prevent high-risk situations, focus on strengths, and connect with social or support networks beyond Olympia House. Free “tune-ups” and weekly aftercare groups are also available for alumni to refresh their recovery. You can learn more about tune-ups in our Aftercare program.
