Experience Life at Olympia House

Learn how Olympia House works with residents and graduates to prevent relapses and remain sober.

Aftercare Action Plan

Our clients leave Olympia House with a growing network of support services, people, friends, education, and hope.

Each person is asked to craft an Aftercare Action Plan which outlines his or her goals and steps to achieve long-lasting and rewarding recovery.

Upon discharge, Olympia House Rehab does not sever ties with our clients.

We help ensure that those who have been in our care continue to be supported, connected and engaged on a path of self-directed wellness and recovery outside our walls.

Preventive Maintenance

Free tune-ups are a unique feature of our recovery program.  Once a person graduates they can return for free tune-ups, once in the first ninety days and then twice a year. A tune-up is a 3-day, 2-night stay at no cost.

The graduate must be clean and sober at the time of the tune-up.

Tune-ups are very useful to former residents in avoiding relapse. If they are in crisis, they can come to Olympia House to get stable before heading out into the real world.

Some people check in on Friday after work and check out again on Sunday to return to their lives as usual.

Other clients use tune-ups as part of their regular maintenance in recovery.

Transitional Support

When a person graduates from a residential treatment setting, they immediately begin to make choices that will shape their future.

Upon leaving Olympia House, some clients choose to pursue independent living either alone, with friends, or with family and significant loved ones.

Other graduates opt to move into a sober living environment (SLE) where they live in a supportive and somewhat structured environment with others in early recovery.

In either situation, the individual usually begins to assume responsibility for maintaining order in their environment, supplying their own food, preparing their own meals, arranging their transportation, earning an income, and structuring many aspects of their daily life.

In some instances, it can be helpful during this transition for the individual to continue to receive an elevated level of support.

In these cases, Olympia House provides the Olympia House IOP program and the Olympia House alumni group.

Free for Graduates of our Residential and IOP Treatment Programs

Olympia House believes that once you leave our treatment center, your journey into the world of recovery is not ending, but just beginning.

This journey is impossible to do on your own, and that is why we provide a free alumni group for all residents who have successfully completed our program.

The alumni group is a space for graduates who not only share the common experience of struggling with addiction but also the unique experience of returning to a space where they have all been open and vulnerable.

The alumni group is a zoom group that meets every Thursday evening.
